We the People Demand
The People’s Demands were crafted by the independent contingents of the People’s March. Rooted in frontline struggles, these demands reflect the urgent needs and bold visions of the communities driving this movement.

Anti-War Contingent Demands (issued by Adallah Justice Project, US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, Feminist Peace Initiative, and Black Alliance for Just Immigration)
Enact an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
Enact an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, end the siege, and restore humanitarian aid through agencies like UNRWA.
End U.S. military and financial support to Israel, including arms sales and assistance.
Close U.S. military bases abroad, withdraw troops from Africa, South America, the Caribbean, and the Korean Peninsula, and stop supporting proxy wars.
End policies of militarized foreign policy, including collective sanctions, military aid to oppressive regimes, and blank check authorizations for military force.
Center gender-inclusive peace processes and provide gendered humanitarian aid in global conflict zones.
Protect humanitarian workers, civilian infrastructure, and post-conflict recovery efforts, and fund loss and damage reparations for communities affected by climate disasters.
Build a grassroots-driven foreign policy prioritizing human security, sustainability, and community care over militarism and force.
Support refugee resettlement and asylum-seekers, prioritizing marginalized groups, and provide reparative justice for harms caused by U.S. militarism.

Prohibit local law enforcement collaboration with ICE to reduce arrests and deportations.
Ensure universal legal representation for immigrants to prevent family separation and unjust deportation.
Expand worker protections to combat exploitation and eliminate the threat of workplace ICE raids.
Guarantee healthcare access for all, improving preventative care and reducing costs.
Oppose anti-Black and discriminatory immigration policies, such as the Laken Riley Act.
Provide humanitarian parole at the U.S.-Mexico border for asylum-seekers facing violence and discrimination.
Preserve the rights established by the 14th Amendment.

Demand accountability and justice for state violence, especially toward Black communities.
Abolish oppressive systems and create sustainable alternatives to policing and capitalism through mutual aid.
Advocate for DC statehood, ensuring autonomy, dignity, and self-determination for its 700,000 residents.

We are committed to fighting for the most expansive policies to help the greatest number of people, especially those left behind by Roe, and working closely with Congressional champions in alignment with the policy principles outlined below:
